why the H*LL can’t I turn this Quick Action Menu off????? This is dangerous as …….when driving. I have my phone synced on my truck to use while driving. Yet Apple in all their great wisdom has complicated the action to make a phone call. When I select phone to make a call I now have to deal with this crap they call a quick action menu. Now I am worrying about trying to tap a even smaller area on my phone to make a call while driving. It is also a pain just in general to have to go through extra steps every day. They need to have a way to remove this option. I have talked to 3 or 4 others, at this time the only ones I have talked to about this option and ALL of them dislike it and want it removed. Yet this article says we can not. I am sure a few people will like this but just as many won’t. Why can’t Apple leave “well enough and working great alone”. This does not help at all. It just makes it harder to zero in on options. My mother is probably going to take her I-phone back and trade it in for something other than Apple. I am seriously thinking of doing the same. I have worked in IT for 35 years with some of the #1 companies in their field. Just Do IT, Holiday Inns, Danny’s Kids. One thing I have learned is that you can’t let nerds get too carried away. We are too detailed when the average user just wants one damn button to push one time.
