What can I do to fix this issue ?

Hi David,

Check if you set any Screen Time Restrictions on your son’s device. Go to Settings > Screen Time and temporarily disable any restrictions–see if the app store returns. If so, it’s likely you set up a restriction in Screen Time (usually in Content & Privacy Restrictions but could also be Allowed Apps)

Yea, Appears to be an issue affecting some users. https://www.iclarified.com/69368/app-store-itunes-store-and-apple-music-are-down-for-some-users . Hopefully Apple will be able to address this issue soon.

Betty, Are you on the older iOS 11? It appears that some Apple users who are still on iOS 11 are having issues with accessing the app store and Apple music. Apple is aware of this issue and may be working towards a resolution.
